Tea Brewing Tips
CHINESE GREEN TEA
- Water temperature below 90 degrees. 75 - 80 degrees for high quality green teas, otherwise the tea leaves will get burnt.
- Steep it for at least 1 minute. Do NOT put the lid on your teapot/teacup.
- Adjust the amount of tea leaf and steeping time to personal taste.
CHINESE WHITE TEA & CHINESE YELLOW TEA
- Water temperature around 80 - 90 degrees.
- Steep it for around 2 - 5 minutes.
- Adjust the amount of tea leaf and steeping time to personal taste
CHINESE OOLONG TEA
- Water temperature around 90 - 100 degrees. (Different Oolong tea might require different temperature. See our package.)
- Steep it for around 30 seconds - 1.5 minutes.
- Adjust the amount of tea leaf and steeping time to personal taste.
CHINESE BLACK TEA
- Water temperature around 90 - 100 degrees. (Different black tea might require different temperature. See our package.)
- Steep it for around 1 - 2 minutes.
- Adjust the amount of tea leaf and steeping time to personal taste.
CHINESE PU-ERH & OTHER CHINESE DARK TEA
- Water temperature around 95 - 100 degrees.
- Steep it for at least 1 minute. You can steep/cook Pu-erh tea and dark tea for hours, especially after 8th brewings.
- Adjust the amount of tea leaf and steeping time to personal taste.
FLOWER TEA & FRUIT TEA
- Water temperature around 80 - 95 degrees. It depends on the type of tea leaf. (See our package)
- Steep it for around 2 - 5 minutes.
- Adjust the amount of tea leaf and steeping time to personal taste.
